Each person will have what he intended: The Messenger (peace be upon him) said, "Actions are judged by motives, so each man will have what he intended". This hadith proves that a deed is not accepted without intention. It has to be sincere to be accepted by Allah so the predecessors (may Allah have mercy on them) took much care of it.
