Lecturere : Joshua Evans Reviewing : Osama Emara

A marvelous episode from the Deenshow.com about the top ten reasons why Jesus (peace be upon him) is not a god. Brother Joshua Evans confirms that he can mention additional reasons along with what he said and that the reasons are not confined to these ten reasons. They are here in a descending order: 10- God cannot be born. 9- No explicit statement in which Jesus said, “I’m God” or “Worship me”. 8- No one can see God in this life. 7- Jesus never taught the Trinity. 6- God does not sleep, eat, drink, etc. Jesus slept, ate, drank, etc. 5- Jesus does not know everything. 4- Jesus explicitly states that he is not God. 3- The Bible does not call Jesus the son of God alone. 2- God cannot change. He is perfect. 1- God is the essence of the worship. He is the object of worship. Had Jesus been God, he would have told people to worship him. Truly, he did the exact opposite as in Matthew 15:9.

A pamphlet in English clarifies the pure doctrine of monotheism that Islam brought and briefly mentions that Allah, the Most High, alone is worthy of worship. It confirms that Allah did not make a mediator between Him and His servants. He neither resembles anyone or anything of His creation nor anyone or anything of His creation resembles Him. This is the Islamic doctrine with which all Prophets have been sent.

A fatwa in English in which Sh. Muhammad Saleh Al-Munajjed (may Allah preserve him) answers the following question, "I have read the many translations in English of the Noble Quran, Surat Al-Mulk verses no. 16-17 in which Dr. Mohsen Khans says: Do you feel safe from the one who is OVER the heaven, in both these verses; however Yusuf Ali and Pickthal state IN the Heaven, and some of the Urdu translations say IN the heaven, I am a little confused because my faith is that Allah swt is above the heavens and his throne in a manner that fits his majesty, and he does descend to the first heaven during the 3rd part of the night. Also, there interpretation of istawa is fixed on the throne, M. Khans is rose over (in a manner that Suits my Lord). I would really appreciate it if you could explain this in detail, what does the verses really say and when was it revealed, I have read ibn Kathir there is not much detail for this verses there. Your website has been very helpful and I find it alhamdulilah very honest and frank, I have previously suffered from Waswasa, which I have recovered from, all praise be to Allah (swt), through your sites answers."

Muhammad Saleh Al-Munajjid (may Allah preserve him) answers the following question: I am living in Dubai and here a huge number of Shia are present around us they always say that doing mourning on 9th and 10th Muhaaram is right and this is the proof that we love Hazrat Husain and Hazrat Yaqoob. Allah said about Yaqoob, "And he turned away from them and said, 'Oh, my sorrow over Joseph,' and his eyes became white from grief, for he was [of that] a suppressor. They said, 'By Allah, you will not cease remembering Joseph until you become fatally ill or become of those who perish.' He said, 'I only complain of my suffering and my grief to Allah, and I know from Allah that which you do not know.'" Please tell me the answer as soon as possible that beating chest is right or wrong?
