Calling to Allah's Religion

A fatwa translated into English in which Sh. Muhammad Saleh Al-Munajjed answers the following question, "In the present distressed situation, many people including scholars are found to talk about the Renaissance of Islam and the emergence of Imam Mehdi. I want to ask about two things: First, who is or may be Imam Mehdi and is there any evidence about his possible emergence, in the light of the Quran and Hadith? Secondly, what will be the order of occurrence of events before the last day, including the emergence of Al-Mahdy, the anti-Christ, Gog and Magog, and Prophet Jesus? Kindly reply in detail."

A fatwa translated into English in which Sh. Abdulaziz ibn Baz answers the following question, "Is a woman counted as a mahram for a non-related woman when travelling and in other cases or not?"

A fatwa translated into English in which Sh. Muhammad Saleh Al-Munajjed answers the following questions, "I understand that a woman to travel by herself for the duration of a day and a night without a mahram is haram. However the speed of air travel which takes at most 8 hours. Is it halal for a woman be dropped off at the departing airport by a mahram and picked up at the destination airport by another mahram? The total journey would be at most 10 hours."

A book translated into English in which its author wrote in its introduction, " With the advent of the month of Rajab, innovations in religion show up and Muslims in many Islamic countries begin to practice acts of worship and myths that were not authorized by Allah. Then, the seekers of knowledge should exert efforts to warn Muslims against these innovations and myths and explain to them the truth in this regard. When it became incumbent on knowledgeable and educated people to explain the truth to the people and warn them against these innovations, the secretary of Islamic Fiqh Site was determined to collect some Fatwas from trustworthy scholars about the annulment of the proofs that were reported in the virtue of the month of Rajab, especially the innovations connected with Salah, fasting, recitation, etc…"

A question, translated into English, answered by the Permanent Committee regarding, "Some lovers of rings and gems such as onyx, Iranian turquoise, etc. believe and propagate that such gems have special characteristics and benefits. They support their view by the Hadith and sayings ... O Honorable Sheikh, is there any Sahih (authentic) Hadith or saying that supports these claims? Are the narrations mentioned in the book of Al-Mustatraf considered Sahih and valid and could be used as evidence? Do such gems have distinguished characteristics? Provide us with your beneficial answer please. May Allah benefit you!"

A fatwa in English in which Sh. Muhammad Saleh Al-Munajjid answers the following question, “I do not fast. Will I be punished on the Day of Resurrection?”

A question answered by Shaikh Muhammad Salih Al-Munajjid regarding: “ There is a hadith, whoever sees a wrong must stop it by hand, etc and another: leave alone what does not concern you. would you clarify what to stop and what to leave alone. if i c someone doing immoral things in Saudi Arabia, like dating, etc. do i go and tell them not to while i know they probably wont listen, or do i just report it to some authority?”

Muhammad Saleh Al-Munajjed (may Allah preserve him) answers the following question, "I have a retail business, which during there holiday I carry there goods, like Christmas decoration, mothers day, Easter, Halloween, etc. Is this prohibited that I use to own a supermarket once I sold it and I didn’t want to get in to that again cause sold beer and pork. Also brother I hope you don’t mind mentioning some of the items I sale, tell me if its prohibited condoms, ceramic figures, cigarettes, lottery, medicine some contain alcohol, or the gel tablets, candy that may or my not have any prohibition in it, toothpaste, some of these items are prohibited for us to use but can it be sold to the kafir since they the only customers."

Although it is called the Easter show it really has nothing to d with Easter. I like to go for the craft, fruit, animal shows, they all have nothing to do with Easter."

When she got her period in Ramadan she did not fast those days, but then she did not make them up because she was unaware that it is obligatory to make up missed fasts. Now she has come to know that it is obligatory to make up missed fasts. What should she do?”
