The best of optional prayers whether in Ramadaan or any other time is eleven rak’at as ’’Aisha "peace be upon her was asked:’’ How was the prayer of Allah’s messenger in Ramadan?" She replied, "He did not pray more than eleven Rakat in Ramadan or in any other month. He used to pray four Rakat ---- let alone their beauty and length----and then he would pray four ----let alone their beauty and length ----and then he would pray three Rakat (Witr)’’

The Month Of Ramadaan is the month of worshipping and fasting.Allah obliged its fasting due to its many virtues and the prophet urged performing the optional night prayer in it .

Night prayers is the most honorable worships.Allah obliged fasting Ramadaan and The Messenger urged us to revive its nights by praying as The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said, "He who observes optional prayer (Tarawih prayers) throughout Ramadan, out of sincerity of Faith and in the hope of earning reward will have his past sins pardoned.’’
